About Domainomatics

It started with one search

Domainomatics began as a single tool, built to solve a single problem: finding a better domain name for a project that deserved one.

Anyone who has been through that search knows the feeling. The name you want is taken. The alternatives feel like compromises. And when something promising does turn up, there's no easy way to tell whether the asking price is fair, inflated, or a genuine bargain.

So we built the tool we wished existed. Then we kept building.

What it became

That first tool grew into the platform you're using today. Along the way, the question we were answering shifted from "what domains are available?" to something harder and more useful: what is a domain actually worth, and why?

A domain's value isn't one number pulled out of the air. It's length, memorability, extension, keyword strength, market comparables, and how well the name fits the thing it's meant to represent. Good valuation means weighing all of it and showing the reasoning behind the result.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. We take pride in refining what a properly valuated domain name means, and in adding new capabilities as our understanding sharpens.

How we work

We keep building. New features and improvements ship regularly. The platform today looks nothing like the tool we started with, and we expect the same to be true a year from now.

We refine before we expand. Adding more is easy. Making what's already here more accurate and more useful is the harder work, and it's the work we prioritize.

We show our reasoning. A valuation you can't interrogate isn't much help. We aim to give you numbers you can understand and defend.

Who it's for

Founders naming a first venture. Investors sizing up a portfolio. Anyone weighing an offer on a name they already own, or deciding what to bid on one they don't. If a domain name matters to what you're building, Domainomatics is built for you.
